Fr. Magembe Reveals the Secret of being Delivered

Fr. Magembe Expedito teaches about the blessing of being delivered. Father Magembe Expedito says that; The greatest stumbling block in the way of our victory is the secret of feeling that we will never receive the blessing of being delivered from our old habits and the power of the flesh, our surroundings with their attractions-have been too strong for us for years and years in our life—the change looks too great and too difficult –is a change possible ?

Fr. Magembe continue to say; Do you really long for the courage to believe that such a change in your life is possible—then you have to believe that such a deliverance is included in the redemption Jesus is offering to you—by the power of the Holy Spirit in Jesus-prayer moves mountains. Fr. Magembe takes an advise from St. Paul-[1 Thess.5:17] —“pray without ceasing” seriously -- it is conveying a new meaning in your life hope begins to spring up in your heart—if a life of prayer begins in you—then any desired change of life becomes possible for you .

In his teaching, Fr. Magembe encourages us always to forget the feeling of discouragement , but hearken to the greatness of hope—the voice calling you to prayer---

Magembe Expedito continues to say; “Do not live under bitter self accusation or discouragement –you have tried your best and no blessing has come—it is because there was no strength to continue to live faithfully and the call to prayer had no power and therefore all the attempts ended up in vain—our success lies in fixing our eyes on Jesus and Jesus alone”.

Fr. Magembe Teaches about Forgiveness

Christians have a very big and heavy cross to carry. That’s the cross of forgiveness. It’s a heavy burden for modern Christians to forgive one another. The bible says that we should forgive one another 7x7 times. It means many times.

Fr. Magembe clarifies that unforgiveness leaves a lot of burdens on our hearts and is one of the major causes of our daily suffering. Sickness like loss of body, colour, weight deficiency, High blood pressure, among others are live example of un forgiveness hearts.

Fr. Magembe advises us to forgive one another. This is one of the short cuts to getting cure and relief from some of our suffering. One will get a peace of mind after forgiving the other. This will grant him a healthy mind and subsequently a healthy body.

Fr. Magembe also noted that Forgiveness is a gift from God. It’s one of the gifts of Holy Spirit. We should always lead a prayerful life so as to get forgiving hearts. Prayer is an important aspect in this line.

Fr. Magembe clarifies upon the issue of falling when praying. This is a very contagious issue that is confusing society today. People wonder why one falls when engulfed in prayer. Some think that it’s a result of witchcraft or evil spirits that are trying to leave some one and eventually make him or her fall. He noted that at times it’s the heavy burdens of heart that are being released. He gave an example of Children who fall when being prayed for. Some always have heavy burdens on their hearts like mistreatments by step mothers, lack of basic needs like clothing among others. After or during prayer they get peace and some of their burdens are released forcefully by the power of the loving God hence falling as it is seen in the picture above.

Fr. Magembe gave an analogy of coffee plant. It always has excess branches but these turn out to be a disadvantage to farmer. It has to be pruned so as to remove the excess branches and come up with a quality yield. These extra branches are like the problems we have in our lives. One of them is unforgiveness. We always have to get rid of them so as to remain with a quality life.

Father Magembe Expedito also gave an example of chest pain. Sometimes but not always it’s one of the burdens on our hearts which is as a result of unforgiveness. If we fail to forgive, our hearts and chests bear the burden. One will move to all kinds of specialists and doctors but in vain yet the solution is simple, forgiveness.

They always seek for recognition from those they have forgiven. Hate is a big burden to carry in our hearts. We should always free our lives from hatred so as to receive the gifts of the holly Spirit. Fr. Magembe’s teachings are based on biblical teaching of Jesus Christ which emphasis love as the greatest gifts one can have. Very many people fail to get cured because of past grudges on their hearts.

Father Magembe emphasizes that we should always remember those who helped us when in need and we shall receive God’s favors in turn. Many people forget their past. They don’t look back and recall their suffering so as to appreciate where they are. People forget about their guardians and parents. They leave them in poverty and suffering. How will you then receive God’s blessings? This is also in line with tithing as away of thanking God and remembering the good things he has done in your life. Believers, always forget their past suffering after receiving God’s mercy.

He also advises (Fr. Magembe) that we should always help those in need. The surest route to financial break through is helping those in need. Always help those in need. Always give out generously and you will receive the favors of God. Many people often refer the needy as to those without money or material possessions. That’s true but it’s wide than that. The sick, those who have lost their loved ones, are example of needy people. At least every one is a needy at one point in his life. Always identify such people after then you love and help. You could counsel them, comfort and offer financial help, God’s blessings will then pour all over you.

Fr. Magembe has turned Mt. Sion Prayer Centre into “a relief agency”. The place houses the homeless every night. They then proceed to their normal duties during the day. He takes care of over one hundred orphaned children. Offer them accommodation and food. He pays School fees for them and many of them have turned out to be respectable personalities. He has also takes care of the widows offer them accommodation and prospects to lead happy lives.
